• <H1>          I thoroughly enjoyed the book though. I found it incredibly engaging and inspiring. It was completely relevant to me – someone who will not have a fulltime missionary child for at least 16 years. After reading this book I feel that it would be too late to read it when your child is on a mission. This book has inspired me to change now.

But I have used the letter-writing concept already in preparing a talk on the Sabbath. The skills learned through this book can be applied to so many aspects of my life. I have a cousin, who is not a member of our church, and in prison. I can see how being more authentic in my letter writing to him could have a very positive effect on him over the next seven years.               
• <H1>         Yes! Oh yes!!! I have always endeavored to write letters that had more than just the usual family report, one that had some spiritual insights, but as I read and reread the book, I walk see how I can do so much more. This book was an answer to a prayer, thank you.               
• <H1>         I definitely have the desire to write more meaningful and intentional letters to my missionary after reading this.  It gave me many ideas, especially the part about including the family in the project.     
• <H1>         I loved it.   Although I don’t have a Missionary child to write to, and I tried to focus on reading the book as if I did, I found that there was a lot in this book for me.   The stories and explanations are too good to miss out on. In the end I gave up pretending to try and read it as if I was learning how to write to, and communicate with, my Missionary child and I just read it and enjoyed it and cried lots and learnt lots.         
• <H1>         The book asks the readers to communicate with others with openness and honesty, which is scary to a lot of people. The personal stories help to see not only that the scary bit can be overcome, but also that IT CAN BE DONE.
